any adverse side-effects. Some herbal products such as ephedra
and drugs that are prescribed for weight loss speed up the
heart rate or raise the blood pressure. Green tea does not.
This makes it an effective and safer alternative for weight
loss.
The medicinal properties of green tea have been
known to be effective for over 4,000 years. It is a common
beverage used throughout Asia and is now becoming popular in
the West.
